The social networking giant claims it has fixed this problem with the launch of the new version for iPhone and iPad apps. Thanks to the complete rewrite of the code, Facebook app loads timeline, photos, messages and all other activities faster than its previous versions. The long-awaited move was part of the effort to appeal to the growing number of users accessing Facebook from mobile devices. Instant access to notifications was added, together with a banner that users can tap to load more stories without having to refresh the app. These features, among others, make this its fastest version yet.
